Welcome to the AAF Company website. The AAF Company is Trustee of Army Amenities Fund and Messes Trust Fund. The Company is a not for profit organisation and was incorporated in the early eighties.

Overall, the objectives of the Company are to provide amenities to enhance the well being of the soldiers in the Australian Army. This is achieved through a variety of means; however, the focal point is the provision of holiday facilities.

Eligibility to utilise the facilities is listed below:
  • Serving soldiers in the Australian Army, including reservists,
  • Serving members of the Navy and Air Force, including reservists,
  • Ex-serving members of the Australian Defence Forces,
  • Australian Public Servants working in Defence, DHA, DEFCREDIT and Australian Defence Force Credit Union staff,
  • Contractors working in Defence, and
  • State Emergency Services

The Company has holiday facilities in various locations around Australia. In some locations the Company owns the facilities – Kalbarri, Goolwa and Mt Buller. In the other locations on the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, South Coast of New South Wales and in Tasmania the Company leases properties. For the leased properties there may be times when bookings are not available due to negotiations for renewal of leases or when lease will not to be renewed.

The AAF Company Board at It's meeting held on 27 February 2009 directed that leased properties would not have their leases renewed once the current leases have expired with the exception of Grande Florida. Please see each property for final date of availability.
